On 12-01-2022 Swami Vivekananda 159th Jayanti and National Youth Day was celebrated by Gurukula PU College and Public School. Reliving the memorable incidents of Vivekananda's childhood days, he suggested us to imbibe his ideals and courage in our lives. Perseverance and self-confidence are the first steps to achieving success. Vivekananda, the epitome of knowledge, is a power that inspires all living beings. Also, Mr. Udaya Naykar, who came as a resourceful person of literature, said that there is a need for hard work to get the path of success in the biography of a local successful person.
Mrs. Anupama S. Shetty, Joint-Managing Trustee of Bhandya Education Trust, who presided over the program, said, "Get up and don't stop until you reach your goal." Education is not enough to become a good person in the society. Shetty told the children.

ಗುರುಕುಲ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಹಾಗೂ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ದಿನಾಂಕ 12-01-2022ರಂದು ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ 159ನೇ ಜಯಂತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯುವ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಯಿತು. ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಬಾಲ್ಯದ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಅವಿಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಘಟನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮೆಲುಕು ಹಾಕುತ್ತಾ, ಅವರ ಆದರ್ಶ ಮತ್ತು ಧೈರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು. ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ, ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸವೇ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿನ ಗುಟ್ಟಿ ಮುಟ್ಟಲು ಮೊದಲ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಪ್ರತೀಕ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರು ಸಕಲ ಜೀವರಾಶಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮಬಲ ತುಂಬುವ ಒಂದು ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಸಾಧಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಜೀವನಚರಿತ್ರೆಯನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ಸಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಯಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಕನ್ನಡ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕ, ಸಾಹಿತಿ ಆದ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ಉದಯ ನಾಯ್ಕರವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
"ಏಳಿ ಎದ್ದೇಳಿ ಗುರಿ ಮುಟ್ಟುವ ತನಕ ನಿಲ್ಲದಿರಿ" ಎಂಬ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಉಕ್ತಿಯಂತೆ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಒಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಸಾಲದು ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರ ಭಾವನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿಂತನೆಗಳ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದ ಬಾಂಡ್ಯ ಎಜುಕೇಶನ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿನ ಜಂಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅನುಪಮ ಎಸ್. ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಬಾಂಡ್ಯ ಎಜುಕೇಶನ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿನಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಗುರುಕುಲ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಜಂಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ಸುಭಾಶ್ಚಂದ್ರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿರವರು, ಗುರುಕುಲ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಶ್ರೀ ಅರುಣ್ ಡಿ’ಸಿಲ್ವಾರವರು ಮತ್ತು ಗುರುಕುಲ ಪಬ್ಲಿಕ್ ಸ್ಕೂಲಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೋಹನ್ ಕೆ. ರವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ಕುಮಾರಿ ಕೌಸಲ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿ, ಕುಮಾರಿ ಪ್ರನುಷ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು ಹಾಗೇನೆ ಕುಮಾರ ಅಭಿಷೇಕ್ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು.
